It’s January, a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. For many of us, it’s also a time of reflection, looking back at what worked, what didn’t, and what we want to change.
But here’s a question:
What happens if nothing changes? If you keep doing the same things every day, thinking the same thoughts, and falling into the same patterns?
This isn’t about your job, your routine, or even your circumstances. It’s about the habits you repeat on autopilot, the way you speak to yourself, and how you show up in the world.
So what's the hidden cost of staying stuck?
When we feel unworthy, not good enough, or overwhelmed, it’s easy to fall into habits that keep us stuck, procrastination, overthinking, comparing ourselves to others, or doom-scrolling. These patterns don’t serve us, yet they feel oddly comforting because they’re familiar.
But familiarity has a cost.
Staying stuck in these cycles robs us of the clarity, confidence, and courage we need to pursue the life we truly desire. It keeps us trapped in “what ifs” instead of moving toward “what’s possible.”
So ask yourself:
"If I keep repeating these habits, what will my life look like in six months? A year? Five years?"
That question changed my life.
The answer was a wake-up call. It made me realise how much I was holding myself back and how differently my life could look if I shifted my thoughts, patterns, and behaviors.
A life of alignment is a work in progress but it's absolutely possible
The good news? Breaking free doesn’t require dramatic leaps. It starts with awareness, a willingness to get honest about what’s not working and envision what’s possible when you align your habits, mindset, and actions with the life you want.
To help you get started, I’m sharing a powerful exercise:
Introducing... Your Perfect Day Exercise ✨
This simple yet transformative exercise is designed to help you get crystal clear on what your ideal day looks like, what you want your life to feel like and how your goals align with that vision.#
This is an exercise that I would normally save for my 1-2-1 clients but I'm sharing it with you today because I want you to experience this too.
Here’s how to do it:
- Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed.
- Take a few deep breaths to ground yourself and let your mind relax.
- Download the Perfect Day worksheet below.
In this exercise, you’ll explore everything from where you wake up to what you wear, who you spend your time with, and how you spend your working hours.
The goal? To dream without limits. To step outside your current reality and imagine a life where anything is possible.

The power of clarity
Once you’ve completed this exercise, take a step back and reflect.
What patterns, habits, or beliefs might be standing in the way of this vision?
How would your life change if you replaced those with confidence, self-worth, and purpose?
This is the kind of clarity we dive into during my AWAKEN program. Over six weeks, we uncover what’s keeping you stuck at a subconscious level and create a plan to align your life with what you truly want to achieve.
Here’s what a few of my clients have said:
"My 6-week Awaken Coaching experience with Becky was truly transformative. It gave me the space to deeply reflect on my values and align my life and business with them. Becky’s guidance helped me reframe my beliefs around marketing and attracting clients, empowering me to show up confidently." – Bianca
"It felt like a warm hug when I was going through a lot of change in my life." – Kate
"A different approach to opening up and seeing things. Would definitely recommend." – Alison
